“My wife and I have been doing business with Grant for over 3 years now and have been pleasantly surprised at every turn. They have worked on our Ford 7.3 diesel truck, Subaru, and Toyota 4 runner from brake jobs, cooling system repair, shocks & struts, and general oil changes. Leo our service writer has always been spot on with his estimates and the work has been timely and at a fair cost. We recently had our niece take her Subaru in for some much need maintenance and were happy to find out that the initial estimate she received from a shop in Denver was totally out of whack and off base, she ended up saving money and getting the actual problems fixed thanks to Grant Automotive. We will certainly be recommending them to anyone who needs a good shop. Thanks again to Leo and the team at Grant Automotive.”

Mechanics are knowledgeable and owner is present usually some time during my visit. They are a big part of the mountain community.”

“My friend bought a car that has done some repair here last year (Aug, 2016) by the previous owner. Another mechanical check at Euro Tech suggests us to do more or less the same stuff as the previous owner did here for ca. $1600. So we went to the shop and asked them about the warranty. The mechanic called Kent said he would do it for free if there is a real problem associated with their repair last year. He checked very carefully (5 hours work according to him) and showed us the problem. It's not like what Euro Tech said. And he would change a part for free. That guy is awesome. I would do business there again.”

“I was referred to Grant Auto and Leo from a friend. I have a 23 year old car, but that didn't matter to Leo! Leo and his mechanics went above and beyond to help me and get my car up and running! The shop could have charged me literally an arm and a leg, but they were extremely generous to me. I will never go anywhere else, ever! And refer Grant Auto anf Leo to everyone I know!!! “So I recently put gas in my diesel truck...I know...it was stupid. I was right near the Ford dealership off of 6th in Lakewood. They quoted me $10,000 to fix it. I called Grant after being referred to them multiple times and they got me in the same day and worked from the least invasive and expensive approach first. They predicted we could get it fixed by just flushing the system and changing a couple filters and that the truck should be good to go. THEY WERE RIGHT. It was less than $700 and my truck has been perfect since. So grateful they did their due-diligence and that they didn't try to take advantage of me!! They have not only SAVED ME LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS but have insured a customer for life!!”

“I have been a loyal customer of Grant Automotive for several years now. I've never thought of writing a review until this last visit. I take my vehicle in, cringing at the thought of what it is going to cost me and every time I go to Grant I save every time over writes from other shops and dealerships. In my experience this usually means that the service is a little lackluster as well but not at Grant. They will not upsell you services that are not necessary. Their staff from the front desk through the sales/service guys and back into the shop are helpful, courteous, thorough, and thoughtful. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else and I constantly encourage my friends to make them the first call as well. I am very thankful that I was able to find them and appreciate everything they do to keep my ride running.”

“I've been a Grant customer for several years. Won't go anywhere else. I've never had to go back with any complaints or problems after a repair. The staff is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. At the cost of auto repairs today, why would you go somewhere you cant trust their work, and risk having to go back and arguing about the repair. That simply doesn't happen at Grant's!! Try them...I personally guarantee you won't be disappointed.”

“I have been taking my vehicles to Grant for service for about 7 years and I have never been disappointed. Services ranged from routine maintenance (oil changes, brake pad replacements, alignments, tire rotations) to major repairs (timing belt, exhaust manifold, transmission). They are very good at troubleshooting problems, providing detailed quotes, meeting deadlines and conducting necessary repairs. The staff are always friendly and anxious to take care of my needs, and they're very good at communicating progress.

I was especially happy with some recent service I received at Grant. I had a sensor that went bad which kept illuminating my check-engine light and making my car run a little sluggish. Unfortunately, the sensors had a manufacturing defect and the mechanic had to replace the part 6 times. But, they never charged me a dime for their labor and the part was under warranty. My car has been running great and I'm really happy that I have a local mechanic that I can trust.”
